Training Aim
The aim of this course is to provide the partcipants with a comprehensive understanding of the policies, practices and procedures of Fire Risk Assessment.
Target Audience
The Course has been developed for organisations that have adopted or intend to adopt a formal risk assessment process and fire safety record keeping procedure
Specific attendees from the organisation should be;
- Nominated “Responsible Persons” who may be required to perform a Fire Risk Assessment
- Persons who may need to assist the Fire Risk Assessment process
- Persons who may be required to know the principles of the Fire Risk Assessment process

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to;
- Understand the principals of legislation regarding Fire Risk Assessment
- Understand and explain the general requirements regarding Fire Risk Assessment
- Understand and explain the terminology of the Fire Risk Assessment process
- Adopt and implement “Best Practices” of Fire Risk Assessment methodology
- Complete an extensive Fire Risk Assessment using the DMT – FRA Template
- Adapt & develop the DMT – FRA template to other specific environments
- Adopt and implement a Fire Risk Management process at their own workplace
