Course Content
The two-day course teaches the management of available resources during emergency operations to provide a safer environment for emergency workers to perform lifesaving functions and reduce injuries and property loss. Participants will be introduced to the Incident Command System as detailed by NFPA 1561 and local regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) will be stressed.
Who Should Attend
Representatives from disaster response agencies, police, firefighters, airports, medical agencies, industry and business who are responsible for reducing deaths, injuries and property loss from fire, major crimes, search and rescue incidents, hostage situations, vehicle, airport and railroad accidents, hazardous materials or terrorist related incidents.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the 2-day course (Diploma) trainees will be able to assume control of an incident, implement strategic incident command functions, create and implement an action plan, provide an improved rescue and property preservation service whilst providing a more effective, safer working environment for responders.
“Introductory” and “Intermediate” level trainees will be developed to attain as greater improvement to their capability as possible within the time constraints
